Started its way in early life span of PlayStation, Suikoden is Konami's cult hit RPG series originally directed by Yoshitaka Murayama, who were committed to make a franchise to rival series such as Enix's Dragon Quest and Square's Final Fantasy. Dealing with political themes like corruption and revolution, the main plot of each entries centers on True Runes and 108 recruitable members around the world called "The 108 Stars of Destiny".
