Yahoo! Keitai was a Japanese mobile internet service ran by SoftBank. It was initially launched in 1999 by J-PHONE under the name of J-SKY, in order to compete with DoCoMo's i-Mode service. It was renamed to Vodafone Live! in 2003, two years upon Vodafone's acquisition of J-PHONE, and to its final incarnation in 2006, when SoftBank purchased Vodafone Japan.
Applications under this service ran on MIDP J2ME with custom graphical and sound APIs, making them closer to base J2ME than DoJa.
