Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.
Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page.
Specifically: Fusion Room descriptions for every planet exist in the data. Was the Fusion Room available to unlock planets in the full game or was that strictly limited to the Gacha system?

Meteos Mobile is a mobile port of Q Entertainment's block-launching puzzler. Each of the 32 planets from the original game were available, and players could battle via a Bluetooth connection.

While the game has remained lost media for a long time, as of December 22nd, 2024, a Trial version for the Yahoo! Keitai (then Vodafone Live!) platform, which came pre-installed on the Vodafone 905SH, has been preserved; the unused material documented in this article takes in consideration that version of the game.

Unused Graphics

The 15th and 16th images extracted from png_menu.bin consist of the unused Soul and Time Meteo designs from Geolyte and Yooj's tilesets in the original DS game, which also go unused here.

Furthermore, the 161st, 162nd, 165th and 166th images extracted from the same file consist of meter graphics for those same types. They were meant to be displayed in the planet selection screen, but never do so, likely due to their Rare Metal status.

Revisional/Version Differences

Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

Demo Versions

Two different demo versions of Meteos Mobile are known to exist; one was pre-installed in the Vodafone 904SH[1], and another in the 905SH, though only this second demo is currently preserved.

  • The first demo features Geolyte as the default planet, with Firim being unlockable via Fusion. The second demo, however, features Stadium as the default planet, with Geolyte being unlockable. Firim and Stadium play exactly the same, having the same Meteo fall rates and physics, though the latter planet would gain proper parameters in the full game.

Exclusive Planets

In February 2007, Sony Ericsson launched the W51S phone in Japan, which had the BREW/EZ-appli version of Meteos Mobile as one of its pre-installed games. Three additional planets were available for each of the three available colors for the phone, though they consist of asset flips of already-existing planets, with all of them having unique background and alien designs, as noted below. These planets were not available in the Yahoo! Keitai and DoJa versions of the game.

Planet Reskin of Notes

Floret Pink Floret (フローレット) Florias Block design is recycled from Geolyte/Yooj
Luster Gold Luster (ラスター) Lastar Has a different playfield border and a unique block design
