Debug Functions

Debug Level Select

KNDOV DebugLevelSelect.png

Adding EnableDebugMenu to app.ini will cause an option named "DEBUG" to appear on the main menu. When selected, it appears that the only debug option present is a debug level select.

Unused Audio

Operation: C.A.V.I.T.Y. C.A.V.E.

Audio Transcription Usage
"Knightbrace's Dental Assault Chair can only be damaged from behind. Lock on, dodge his attacks, and get behind him." This audio is supposed to accompany the mission update text that appears before the Knightbrace boss fight, yet it strangely goes unused.

Unused Videos

Developer Comments

The scripts present in the JAM archives have some comments made by the developers.

// WARNING: Blocks, Atlas loaders, and Sound Nodes need to be added in
// that order, since Sound Nodes may need segments defined,
// and sound banks need memory blocks.
//BZR: There is no need to save the autosave setting and it gets overwritten due to new game operations so it's been moved to generic.adr
// ONLY USED IN FaMsPlayerFloating -- NOT USED YET IN 2x4
// NOTE TO ANYONE ADDING CONTENT.
// PLEASE ADD any new items in alphabetical

It looks like the game was internally known as "2x4".
