Development:My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire
This page details development materials of My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire.
Throughout Dawn of Fire's development, many prerelease files for updates were uploaded to Big Blue Bubble's downloaded content storage websites dlc.bbbgame.net and dlc2.bbbgame.net. These files contain early sprites, sounds, and text. These files have since been removed from dlc.bbbgame.net, meaning there are likely many more development files that are lost.

Early Monster Files
Dandidoo
Updated versions of Dandidoo's early sprite sheets with more sprites.
Young Glowl
Early | Final |
---|---|
An early version of young Glowl. Surprisingly enough, this image doesn't actually come from beta build files of Dawn of Fire, but rather from one of Big Blue Bubble's game servers which was used to store images for the Mailbox in My Singing Monsters and the Bulletin Board in Dawn of Fire. It's possible that this may have been used to test those images appearing inside of DoF. The image was uploaded on July 16, 2015.
Thumpies
Updated versions of the Thumpies' early sprites. The young Thumpies have their designs changed, while the adult Thumpies have 2 more mouth sprites.
Adult Repatillo
An early version of adult Repatillo's sprites.
Wynq
Early versions of Wynq's sprites where it was originally orange instead of cyan.
Adult Shellbeat
An updated version of adult Shellbeat's early sprite sheet with more sprites.
Yelmut
An updated version of young Yelmut's early spritesheet with back eye sprites and an early version of Adult Yelmut's sprites.
Bisonorus
Early versions of Bisonorus' sprites. These could be seen in Bisonorus portraits from when it first released.
PongPing
Early versions of PongPing's sprites from version 15909. These sprites lack all color, and in young PongPing's sprites, it appears as if it would've had a goatee, similar to how adult PongPing does. These versions of the sprites are oddly double the size of the final sprites.
In version 15914, the size of these sprites were halved, as previously they were too big.
Placeholders for young PongPing's icon and portrait from version 15917, which are the icon and portrait of adult PongPing with "TEMP" and "BABY" written on them.
Prismatic Furcorn
An early version of Prismatic Furcorn's sprite sheet, only featuring sprites for the Red and Blue Prismatic Furcorns.
Early versions of the Prismatic Furcorn icons.
Prismatic Mammott
Early versions of Prismatic Mammott's icons. These designs are slightly different from the final designs, as their legs are lava instead of rock. The Yellow Prismatic Mammott's face is also different.
Early Starhenge Coming Soon Icon
In an early version of 1.4, the version where the map UI changed, there was an early version of Starhenge's coming soon icon which featured a silhouette of the Celestial Hornacle rather than a top-down view of the Starhenge ground with a music note on it.
Early Party Island Icon
In an early version of 1.8, there was a unity3d file that had an early Party Island icon in it. It seems Party Island was originally going to be a sandy beach island. More evidence towards this is the island's diffuse calling it "Vacation Island".
Sounds
Monsters
Early Baby Dandidoo Sound
An early version of Baby Dandidoo's sound which is a quieter, alternate recording, though it can be heard in the OST.
Early Adult Dandidoo Sound
An early extended version of Dandidoo's Cloud Island sound.
Early Adult Clamble Track 2
An extended version of adult Clamble's track 2 on Space Island, which is quieter and has a short cymbal hit that resembles its track 1 at the end.

Early Adult Scups Bio
Weighed down by ages of accumulated rainfall stored within its body, the adult Scups naturally gravitates to the weightless wonders of Space Island! Here, it can still move as spryly as ever, but its powerful suction cups ensure that it never floats too far from its friends. No one knows more about sticking together than the Scups!
