This is a sub-page of Development:Pokémon Red and Blue/Localization.

Miscellaneous changes include:

  • The early Cut message seen in the games' manual is present here.
  • The early "<PLAYER> traded <POKéMON> for <POKéMON>" message is improperly formatted, with {gyo3@} misspelled as "{gyo3}". Fixed in 2-a-2.txt.
  • In the first backup, a handful of strings were prefixed with "LONGER", definitely a translator note of sorts. Removed in 2-a-2.txt.
  • The first two backups have wildly different data structures for the "<POKéMON>" calls. Fixed in 2-a-3.txt.
