What should we do with content that was included in previous leaks?

Some of the content included within the leak have been previously distributed as part of previous leaks, i.e. the Facepunch 2016 leaks. While some of the .max files contain stuff that's not preserved in their .smd file counterparts, such as placeholder level geometry to help with the characters interacting with the environment, I don't think some of these files have anything that differentiates them from the previously leaked material, besides using models that a ton of other files in the 2024 leak share. How should we handle these repeat files in the article?

We should mention that those animation files (such as Gordon getting RKO'd by 3 grunts) have been leaked prior to this leak. Also, you should look at the texture paths these models call for, they contain some interesting stuff (ie. textures for a scientist clipboard in scientist models). --L337 KR3W (talk) 07:04, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
We absolutely should document new findings to old things such as the level geometry or earlier versions of animations in the modifiers. The Gordon ambush animations forexample was originally seen in the Day One models. But we didn't see the whole scene and level layout until now. Keep in mind this leak, the 2016, and 2023 leaks are all part of the same leak but released in bites. Tamamo-no-Bae (talk) 13:35, 13 April 2024 (UTC)
