Hmmm...
To do:
  • Check for differences between western & Chinese versions!
  • Check for unused music and sound files.
  • Check between language files for regional differences.
  • See if there are any differences in the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Eagle Island is a falconry-inspired roguelite platformer developed by Pixelnicks in which you play as Quinn, a young adventurer with a fondness for birds.

Unused Graphics

Chinese Flag

Eagleisland-chinaflag.png

A Chinese flag exists in interface.xnb despite the Chinese translation of the game being only available in China.

Reference Sprites

Eagleisland-quinnref.png

Among Quinn's sprites in quinn.xnb there are some reference images likely used as a base for his animations.

Eagleisland-smallerlogo.png

A smaller version of the logo exists in the interface.xnb spritesheet, although it is partially overwritten by a floppy disc icon.

Eagleisland-superhot.png

A superhot-style logo reading "Eagle Island".

PlayStation Buttons

Eagleisland-dualshock.png

Icons for buttons of a PlayStation controller. These are doubly unused, as Eagle Island has not been ported to PS4/5 yet, and these icons are duplicates of ones found in the fonts folder with the rest of the button icons.

Cheat Coin

Eagleisland-cheatcoin.gif

A "cheat coin". It doesn't perform any cheats, and only plays a sound when picked up by Quill.
