Felix the Cat is an unauthorized Genesis port of the NES game including no boss fights, no non-platformer levels and (stolen) out of place music that randomizes, but the biggest point of discussion is with all certainty its infamous game over screen, featuring the titular character ripping his face off (also stolen).

Other than that, it's actually pretty faithful.

While the game is paused, press C, Up, Down and Right 25 times each. A "code screen" will appear along with a short developer rant and what appears to be the current version of the game. Press Down to increase the level counter or Up to decrease it.

This cheat is also present in some of the other games published by Kudos, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 and Darkwing Duck. It's also present in Mario 3: Vokrug Sveta and Mario 4: Kosmicheskaya Odisseya, albeit modified a bit.
