Hmmm...
To do:
Chowda menu

Found deactivated in the game is a hidden debug menu. On the top are six tabs (with one for Ruin being added in the Ruin patch). This debug menu would later have its visuals updated in the Ruin patch.

Main

This section is focused on basic mechanics found in the game (i.e, unlimited tools, visual settings). A few options from this menu were moved to the Other page in the Ruin patch.

  • Flying Mode - Allows the player to fly in the air. Essentially a noclip mode.
  • Flying Collision - A collapsible setting with three options. "Full" retains the normal collision when Flying Mode is enabled, "None" gives the player zero collision when flying, and "Query" is currently unknown.
  • Flying Speed - Adjusts the speed the player flies at.
  • Game Clock Running - Runs the in-game clock.
  • Clock - Allows the player to change the in-game clock, adjusting the animatronics' appearances.
  • Enable Cloaking - Cannot be enabled in any pre-Ruin patches. This makes the player invisible to the AI.
  • Unlimited Stamina - Gives the player unlimited stamina.
  • Unlimited Fazwatch Power - Gives the player unlimited flashlight power. Might hint towards there having been power for the Fazwatch.
  • Fazwatch Power - Adjusts the flashlight's power level. As stated above, might hint towards there having been power for the Fazwatch.
  • Freddy Power - Adjusts the power Freddy has. Set to 30 at default.
  • Clear AI - Removes all hostile animatronics, as well as Vanny.
  • AI Spawn Enable - Determines whether the hostile characters spawn when you unlock areas of the mall.
  • Chica/Roxy/Monty Shattered - Adjusts whether or not the aforementioned animatronics are shattered, as they are after their boss fights.
  • AI Debug Vis - Highlights all AI characters and lets the player see them through walls.
  • Unlock Everything - Unlocks everything the game has to offer. Also gives the player a security level of 100, whereas in the final game it only goes up to a maximum of 8.
  • Lock Everything - Locks everything in the game, even things the player's previously unlocked.
  • Show Coordinates - Shows the player's current coordinates in the top-left corner in-game.

  • Show Loaded Levels - Shows all rendered maps at the bottom-left corner of the screen.

  • Enable All Input Modes - Unknown.
  • Security Level - Adjusts the player's security level.
  • Gameplay Trailer Mode - Unknown. This was moved to the Other page in the Ruin patch.
  • Unlit Mode - Removes all shading from the game. This is functionless in the Ruin patch, as 4.27 doesn't allow Test or Shipping builds to use viewmodes.
Unlit Mode in action
  • Has used hiding spot - Automatically set to true when the player is in a hiding spot (not counting using Glamrock Freddy).
  • Post Processing/Anti-Aliasing - Basic graphical options. This was moved to the Other page in the Ruin patch.
  • Show Collision - Unknown.
  • Lightmap Density - Unknown. May be another graphical setting. This was moved to the Other page in the Ruin patch.
  • Point Lights/Spot Lights - Graphical light settings. This was moved to the Other page in the Ruin patch.
  • Show Precomputed Visibility/Show Translucency Teleport - Unknown. This was moved to the Other page in the Ruin patch.

In the Ruin Patch, a piece of text was added to the middle right, stating

Welcome to the debug menu! Why
is this still in the game? Because
we felt like leaving it in. Using this
menu can destabilize your
experience and cause unintended
consequences - proceed at your
risk, and have fun!

Inventory

This tab allows the player to quickly gain any item in the game (including unused items), and also has an option to enable all of the cameras.

Freddy/Gregory

Launch Ruin Patch

This section allows the player to toggle different settings for both Freddy and Gregory.

  • The first three options are used to toggle Freddy's various upgrades.
  • Can be called - Determines whether Freddy can be called at certain parts of the game.
  • Gregory enter/exit Freddy - Determines whether Gregory can go in Freddy's chest cavity.
  • Can Crouch - Determines whether the player can crouch.
  • Sight - Unknown. Perhaps a scrapped feature.

Missions

Launch Ruin Patch

This tab allows the player to toggle which missions have been completed. The boss buttons at the side warp the player to the end of the boss fight.

Instruction Cards

This tab allows the user to view each of the instruction cards found throughout the game, this was untouched in the Ruin patch.

Other

Launch Ruin Patch

A miscellaneous tab, mostly containing graphical settings. Also allows the player to close the debug menu. In the Ruin patch, various Main page settings were moved here, as well as more console quality settings being added for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, and a textbox for running commands. The option for PS4 quality was changed from "There can only be one" to simply "PS4 Quality".
