Unused Minigames

Roxy Racers

Located in the files are multiple references to a Roxy Raceway minigame, in which the player would've taken control of a Security Bot (similarly to the pizza baking minigame) and raced across a racetrack. While there are some code snippets and graphics associated with this, the final game only has a cutscene for Roxy Raceway, and not a full-on minigame. However, there are audio files and subtitles for this minigame, teaching the player how to drive the kart.

Interestingly, there is an unused object associated with this minigame: a fully functional go-kart that can drive at high speeds. Ramming into animatronics causes them to ragdoll off the kart before the player dies, likely a remnant of the original Roxy boss fight.

Chica's Feeding Frenzy

Found disabled in the game, in MAP_ChicasFeedingFrenzy, is a minigame by the name of 'Chica's Feeding Frenzy', in which the player plays as Chica and fires pizzas at purple tanks (possibly placeholders). It is fairly unpolished, suggesting this minigame was cut quite early in development. A dufflebag message hinting at this minigame can be found in-game, suggesting they were at least able to place hints towards the minigame before they cut it. The arcade machine in which it would have been accessed is also implemented, even if it can't be interacted with. This would later be used in the Ruin DLC, albeit with upgraded visuals.

It turns out this minigame is also a fully explorable map! There's lots of placeholder geometry and objects stored outside the normal viewing area.

Extras Menu

Evidently, the Extras menu present in Five Nights at Freddy's 3 through to Sister Location was planned to make a return in Security Breach, but was scrapped. Despite this, it can still be re-enabled via modifying the game files, where it is found in the main menu.

When opened, the Extras menu possesses 6 options, many of which are also unused. These include the cut 'Survival' mode, Minigames, 'Office Games', the Character Gallery, the game's credits, and the currently teased free Security Breach: Ruin DLC.

The Minigames option opens up a window that allows the choice of all the minigames throughout the game, plus the unused battle against Vanny.

The only options in this menu that do not work are Vanny Battle, Balloon Boy, and LightTest. LightTest takes you to an unused variant of the PizzaPlex; when it was built is unknown.

The Office Games option also opens up a window, this time containing all the bosses and events in the game. Endogeddon, Pizza Sim, and Roxy Racers do not function in the latest patch of the game, but Roxy Racers does somewhat function in the v1.0 build, sending you into the Endo Repair Room.

Survival Mode

Last in this menu is Survival Mode, which is a mode where you have to survive until 6am.

The difficulty determines how many animatronics spawn, so Nightmare mode will have far more animatronic encounters than Easy. The symbols make up the Seed, which randomizes your playthroughs, making each playthrough unique (as long as the seeds differ).

Lastly, the Spawn All button seems to spawn gift boxes in all possible locations, so as to show you every single place a gift box can possibly spawn in.

Seed Menu

The symbols you can use to randomize are as follows:

  • A Flashlight
  • A Freddy Plush
  • A Trophy
  • A Moon Head
  • Monty's Symbol
  • Freddy's Symbol
  • A Slice of Pizza
  • Charging Station Symbol
  • Helpy Head
  • Rockstar Freddy Head

Gameplay

  • Upon starting the mode, you're locked into a safe room with Chica. In previous builds you were given 10-20 seconds to get out of the room and run from Chica. However, in the most recent patch, you need to run as soon as the game starts, Upon entry into the Atrium, you get your Main Quest.

  • And from this point on, it's a "Wander around the Pizzaplex and don't get caught" type of mode. There are Jumpscare Gifts, that jumpscare you with Plush Baby or a Plush Moon. However, due to these being incredibly unfinished, they crash the game when you get jumpscared.
  • Also of note is that you don't spawn with the flashlight, you get it from opening a certain amount of gifts.
  • Party Bots guard several map areas, requiring the player to collect Party Passes to access them. However, it should be noted that some Party Bot placements match the Pizzaplex layout from earlier in development, so they appear to guard areas that no longer exist.
