Wear Flowers in Your Hair

Unused dialogue for The Truth, including alternate locations for Jethro.

You will fail the mission if you abandon the car, but since everyone automatically gets in during cutscenes, it is impossible to abandon any single character. Additionally Dwayne (or as any used text calls him, Dwaine) gets to the garage himself so there wouldn't be an opportunity to lose him. Curiously, there is no text for abandoning Zero either.

555 We Tip

The mission does fail if another valet picks up the car, but they must also park it first. The used version of the latter objective doesn't have the color tag.

Unused objectives and prompts for the mission. At the start you get a single objective telling you to use the minigun to destroy the planes.

~s~Take out the enemy aircraft before they destroy our Transmitters and immobilize our signal.

~s~Zero will try and maintain the Transmitters during the attack,

Various unused objectives and prompts. Note that it is not possible to lift the tanks with the magnet.

~s~This is the RC battlefield.

~s~To win you must safely escort the RC Bandit to Berkley's base.

~s~There are a few challenges along the way. You must use a RC Goblin to help clear a path for your Bandit.

~s~Pick up a ~g~plank~s~ from the base.

~s~Get a plank from your base.

~s~Drop the plank at the river crossing.

~s~Your ~b~Bandit~s~ is obstructed by a barrel. Lift the barrel to allow the ~b~Bandit~s~ to continue.

~s~Your Bandit is obstructed by a ~r~RC TIGER~s~. Destroy or lift the tank to allow the Bandit to continue.

When the ~b~Bandit ~w~gets to a river you must lift a plank from your base using the ~b~Goblin ~w~and place it over the river.

If your ~b~Bandit ~w~takes damage from Berkley's ~r~Tigers ~w~ it will reverse until it is safe.

Pick up a ~b~Bomb ~w~from your base and drop it on Berkley's ~r~Tigers ~w~to destroy them.

If the ~b~Bandit ~w~gets destroyed another will start from your base, be careful as you only have 3 ~b~Bandits~w~.

Additional dialogue for Zero. Only a select handful of lines are used during the mission.

This mission in particular seems to have gone through major changes during development. Seems like you were supposed to steal a helicopter, pick up Cesar with it, follow a Ballas car to the meet, and take the photos from the air. Only dialogue for CJ seems to remain.

An unused subtitle for the opening cutscene, the dialogue itself can be heard. Also included is some dialogue for police with no audio remaining. The text for these is repeated twice.

~z~Suspects are armed and dangerous!

Two alternate unused voice lines that would have lead you to the docks and additional lines for finding the van. Only one is ever used.

An unused prompt for checking your map and a prompt to get back to Toreno and the van. Only a prompt for leaving him behind is used. Additionally you cannot fail the mission by leaving him behind at any point. The last one is a simple unused variant of the used failure state, which is "Toreno's Dead".

Judging by some of the above audio and these unused objectives, it would seem that Woozie was going to take the lead during the shootout. You are told to stick close to him, but never to wait for him. An unused prompt to reply to... something and a slight variant on the used "Drive Woozie back to his place".

Some unused objectives. The first is an unused variant, the other three are entirely unused. You're not tasked with taking out the bikers, but luring them through the countryside. You don't need to go pick up the decoy car, it simply spawns in front of you at the start of the mission. The final mission uses a generic damage bar.

A Rancher with tinted windows, internally named "rnchlure" is in the game, rather obviously meant to be used in this mission, but the game designates you a standard Rancher instead. The Lure Rancher goes unused, but can be spawned with a cheat code.

Amphibious Assault

A single unused line for CJ during the alternate cutscene you get if you don't have sufficient lung capacity to start the mission. The cutscene fades out while Woozie laughs.

Seems like you were supposed to retrieve a knife underwater, but a knife is not required or given during this mission.

The Da Nang Thang

The game never prompts you to use stealth kills, but does have a used variant of the second line which says to "Keep quiet for as long as possible" There are also failure states for destroying the helicopter or killing the pilot, something that you cannot do.

~S~Make your way to the cabin and kill the ~r~Snakehead~s~ and his ~r~bodyguard~s~.

~r~The helicopter pilot has been killed!
~r~The helicopter has been destroyed!

Placeholder subtitles for the helicopter going down, as well as an alternate line for CJ losing all his weapons instead of keeping his knife. The dialogue for the guards was recorded in two different voices, some of which go unused. The "Go get the Snakehead!" line is completely unused. The last line might have belonged to the Snakehead himself.

Unknown where these lines might have been used. Perhaps the mission played out differently at some point, and you were meant to drive a van yourself?

An alternate unused line for CJ after the van makes it to the factory.

The game tells you to "drive to the van's location" instead and never prompts you to pick up a rocket launcher. You're always just told to destroy the next roadblock until you get to the final one. The used version of the last objective only highlights the word 'roadblocks'.

~s~Pick up the ~g~rocket launcher ~s~when you get there.
~s~Clear the third ~r~roadblock.

~s~Use the ~g~rocket launcher ~s~to destroy the ~r~roadblocks.

Snail Trail

An alternate objective, text for a train progress bar and an unused failure state. Even if you don't follow the train, the mission only fails after the reporter gets in the cab and you lose him.

~s~You can attempt to follow the ~r~train~s~ along the train tracks, or use the map to plan a route to Market Station.

Toreno's Last Flight

An unused line for the phone call at the start of the mission, referring to an airstrip instead of a helipad.

Some unused objectives and an additional failure state. A rocket launcher is provided to you at the helipad without any additional steps. The only ways to fail the mission is for the helicopter to get away either by getting out of range or reaching a specific point in the countryside.

~s~ Follow that ~r~helicopter~s~ and bring it down! Use any means necessary!

Yay Ka-Boom Boom

The game only tells you to activate the bomb when you are in the designated spot to do so, even if you get out of the car in said spot, the game just tells you to get back in the car as usual. Finally, you're told to just get out of the lab.

~s~Get as far away from the crack lab as possible!

Since you can't arm the bomb anywhere else, the lab is always successfully destroyed. If you get caught in the explosion, you simply fail the mission from getting wasted.
