This is a sub-page of Grand Theft Auto IV.

Hairstyles
Before getting the hairstyle we have now, the developers experimented with it quite a bit and left early versions in the game files.
This model that resembles helmet-hair is the one Niko originally had, as seen in 2007 pre-release trailers and screenshots. Although the hairstyle model left in files, its color was changed from completely black to reddish, most likely this was the last change before the hairstyle was dropped.
The Buzzcut. The second version, where the hairstyle is no longer present, appeared at the time of the third trailer of the game and the screenshots after it. However, this hairstyle is not as simple as it seems, since it contains leftovers of a third one, unknown and previously unseen hairstyle.
The texture and the model belongs to The Buzzcut hairstyle. The model cannot be seen as its size has been reduced to absolute minimum. This hairstyle was clearly made for something, as the texture of it is unique and neither storyline characters or random pedestrians has it.
Fingerless Gloves
Strangely enough, while these gloves for Niko were heavily featured in promotional artwork, screenshots, and trailers from either before or after release, they can never be found in-game, but can be applied with modifications.
Body Armor
Unused model of body armor. It is unknown whether it was supposed to be equipped on the player as soon as he picked up the armor, or whether it could be used in some scripted situations, like the backpack that the player can obtain only on some missions.
Backpack
Two unused backpack textures. These textures looks incorrect as they were intended for a different backpack model, which is still can be seen used by some pedestrians in the game.
Glasses
Unused glasses model with three texture variations for it. All of this remains unused and can only be obtained with modifications.
Unused texture variations for glasses that player can buy. It is unknown why the developers did not implement texture variation for accessories.
Hats
Unused texture variations for hats.
Helmet
Helmet texture variation that was featured on pre-release screenshots, but got removed from the player in result, more precisely, the helmet texture has been moved to the female multiplayer model, from where it can be taken and given back to the player.
Early Design
Clothing stores features an early design of the clothes for the player to purchase. In most cases, the difference is minor, but still worth mentioning.

Removed Clothing
Grey Suit with yellow tie
In one of the pre-release screenshots, Niko is wearing a grey suit with a yellow tie. The texture for this suit can be found in the game files, but it does not fit any of the current suit models.
Blue Tracksuit
Again, in one of the pre-release screenshots, Niko can be seen wearing a blue tracksuit, which is not available for him to wear in the final version of the game. The tracksuit was not removed completely and it can be seen used by some pedestrians in the game, which even has the same texture from the screenshot.
Hotel Outfit
Nothing much left from it, only string from the .gxt file and that's pretty much it.
