This is a sub-page of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (GameCube, Xbox).

In the game files, langtext is the name of a folder that the game never runs, there are text banks (ALT_X.bin), that come from different stages of development and some have never been recorded by the actors.

Borgin, Lucius and Drago Malfoy Extra dialogue

I thought you were going to buy me a present.

This line would have been spoken by Draco right after Harry sees the former and his father.

Harry Potter got a Nimbus 2000 last year. Everyone thinks he`s so smart, wonderful Potter, with his scar and his broomstick. I would remind you that it is not - prudent - to appear less than fond of Harry Potter. Not when most of our kind regard him as the hero who made the Dark Lord dissappear.

This would have be spoken by Lucius, it was probably rejected because it has nothing to do with the situation.

And young Master Malfoy too - charmed. How may I be of assistance?

Borgin would have said this right after saying "Mr Malfoy, what a pleasure to see you again."

I`m not buying today, Mr Borgin, but selling.

Followed by Lucius' line just after Borgin's.

I have a few ... items at home that might embarrass me **if the Ministry should happen to call. It`s the same all over. Wizard blood is counting for less everywhere.**

The bolded lines are the unused bits, they would be spoken by Lucius and Borgin.

Good day, Mister Malfoy, **and if the stories are true, you haven`t sold me half of whats hidden in your manor.**

Everything past "Mister Malfoy" is unused (noted in **), they would be spoken by Borgin.

Diagon Alley

Where did you come out, Harry?

Knockturn Alley!

Well, gotta be off Think I`ll go fer the usual at the Leaky Cauldron...

What`s wrong, Ginny? You don`t look very happy.

Oh, she`ll be all right, won`t you Ginny?

I`ve lost some of the things I need for Hogwarts.
Something wasn`t quite right with the Floo Powder we used to get here.
My things went flying! I saw them shooting off into the fireplaces I passed and now they`re lost forever!

Would you like me to go and look for them?

If you don`t mind, that would be wonderful.

I don`t mind at all. Only too glad to help.

Oh, thank you, Harry!

What exactly am I looking for?

My Potions Kit, a roll of Spellotape, a brand new quill and a set of brass scales.

I can help right away with the Potions Kit. Here, have mine.

Thanks ever so much, Harry!

I need to get a Second Year kit at Mulpeppers, anyway.

A long dialogue between Harry, Hagrid, Ginny and Molly Weasley for a unused cutscene, all the line were rewrite in the final game to let harry have a sickle from Molly Weasley.
Note that Harry had to purchase a Potion Kit instead of a Vial.

Leaky Cauldron

Ah, Mr Potter. Delighted to see you again. Make yourself at home and have a good look around. The cellar is full of surprises . . .
The Leaky Cauldron's cellar is a great place to explore, Mr Potter.

Some line that Tom the barman never says, those line exist in the Xbox release.

Fred & George

Curse of the Bogies, eh, Potter! An excellent purchase! Malfoy`s going to look great with snot streaming from his conk!

Fred or George refers to the spell Mucus ad Nauseam, once sold at Gambol and Japes.

Flourish and Blotts

When young Harry here stepped into Flourish and Blotts, he only wanted to buy my autobiography - but he had no idea that he would shortly be getting so much more than my book.

This line is said by Lockhart before he announces his position at Hogwarts, it is said in the original story.

Diagon Alley deleted scene ?

Not lost are you my dear? I`m fine thanks, I`m just-
Harry! C`mon over `ere, Harry! What d`yeh think yer doin` in Knockturn Alley?
Hagrid, I was lost!
Floo Powder... Knockturn Alley`s a dodgy place, Harry - don`t want no one ter see yeh down there. C`mon, this way...

Lines of dialogue between Harry and Hagrid can be found, revealing that Hagrid would have found Harry at Knockturn Alley as in the original story.

DADA

He tells me he knows a little about duelling himself and has sportingly agreed to help me with a short demonstration.

This line is found just after Lockhart is introduced the class. As evidenced by this line and the rest of this line that exists in the sound dialogue of the game, Lockart and Snape would have duelled.

If you ↓d like to partner up with Mr Weasley-

Line from the movie but Snape's answer line is absent.

Gringotts ?

Too busy. Go talk to someone else.
Bladvak! Bladvak, bladvak, bladvak!
Enter, stranger, but take heed Of what awaits the sin of greed.
If you seek beneath our floors A treasure that was never yours, Thief, you have been warned, beware Of finding more than treasure there.
Can`t help you, I`m afraid. Position closed.
If you haven`t got a deposit or withdrawal to make, kindly clear off.
Seventeen silver Sickles to a Galleon and twenty-nine Knuts to a Sickle.
Madness... sheer madness...

Hogwart (General)

Lost Item

This must belong to someone, I should take it back to the Common Room.
Well done Harry, the student will be pleased. Have a Wizard Card, mate!!

Confiscated Items Storeroom

Hey there, Harry. Fancy a broomstick race? If you can beat me, i'll give you the key to the Confiscated Item Storeroom. What do you say? Will you race me?
Here's the key to the Confiscated Items Storeroom. You'll find it just off the flying courtyard on the other side of the bridge.
Apparently, there's a secret storeroom somewhere in Hogwarts where Filch keep all the things confiscated by the teachers.

As mentioned above, data from the confiscated items room from the PlayStation 2 version is present in the game, but is all unused.
