Jantei Monogatari is a port of the CD-ROM² game of the same name by Atlus and Telenet Japan. In it, you have to find the whereabouts of a missing high school girl by.. playing mahjong.

Cheat Mode

At the main menu, press A, B, C, A, B, C, A, B, C. A "00" will appear above the title. Toggle this with the D-Pad, press A or C to play music/sound effects, or press Start to go to the corresponding level.

Sonic the Hedgehog Leftovers

Leftovers from an earlier version of Sonic the Hedgehog can be found in the code, suggesting that this game was built on top of it, which is odd, as this game predates it by 3 months and is by completely different developers.

Level Select Fontset

Graphics for the level select fontset are included here, in the same location as they are in Sonic. This technically doesn't go unused, as the graphics for letters A through F and the numbers are used in the aforementioned Cheat Mode; however, you can't see it through normal gameplay.
