This is a sub-page of JumpStart Adventures 3rd Grade: Mystery Mountain.
| To do:
- I obtained these files from the 2001 re-release. Whoever has any version of this game, including V1.0, please check and see if any of these lines were used in-game.
- PDB0G03A is used in the game, but I wanted to upload this file here for comparison

Great choice! Let's see what Polly has planned for this mission! Come on!

Probably intended for when you click the start button after selecting a question.

Well, here goes nothing. Let's see what's in store for us.

Three variations of the line where Botley instructs you to put the TransQuizzer away. Only the first one ever plays in-game.

Good going, now let's go inside!

Probably intended as a substitute for the line that plays when you successfully unlock the entrance door. ("That's it, you opened the door!")

Cool door, huh? Now follow me.
FDB0F09
Now it's safe 'til we need to use it!
If you organize the sound files by their names, this line is positioned with the dialogue for Botley's explanation of the utility belt, so it likely would've been used right after this line:
"In the middle of the belt is the inventory. That's where we can store things we find in the mountain -- the TransQuizzer, for instance."
Scrapped Song (Polly's World)
Stored with the audio for the front door is a placeholder voice clip implying that there would've been a musical number for Polly, titled "Polly's World".

She sings the song "Polly's World".

There's also an unused conversation between Botley and Polly that relates to the song. It appears that the song was supposed to play right after PDP0G04. Additionally, two of the voice lines (marked in blue) were left over from a scene near the beginning of the game which shows Polly in her father's secret chamber.

Well, if he thinks he's gonna stop me now, I've got news for him; he's got a thing or two to learn before he can match wits with me!

FDB0G03

Alright, Polly! I know you sent those robots back in time, and now the whole world's a mess! You can't do that!
FDP0G04
But that's where you're wrong, I can do anything. In another day, we'll see the dawning of Polly's World.
FDP0G06
Okay, let's see what he wants. This might be fun.
Main Floors
There are nine voice clips of Botley announcing a floor on the mountain as if he were an elevator operator. These were likely intended for when the player transits from one floor to the other. (For example, say you were on the second floor and clicked on the stairway to the first. That would've caused Botley to say one of the first three lines.)

Funnily enough, the third letter in the filename is 'B' for Botley instead of 'P' for Polly.

No, you numskull, he's starving. And if you feed him well, he might just give you what you really need - and I'm not talking about a new brain.

An extra line that would've been used during Botley's introduction to the kitchen.
KIB0S01B
Okay, we're back in the kitchen, and I bet our pal, Marvelous Mort, is hungry again.

Would've been used when the player returns to the kitchen, in place of Botley's "we're in the kitchen again" line.

Here we are, back in the kitchen. I think I can hear Mort's stomach growling.

It's feeding time, and I know a hungry robot who's ready to consume.
Two extra pairs of lines for Botley and Mort that would've been used when the player returns to the feeding machine. Botley's lines here would've been used in place of his 'chow time' line, while Mort's would've been used in the V1.0 release, in place of his 'all ready' line.

To measure any of the toppings, click on one of the instruments on the back wall, and then click on the topping you wanna add. Finally, click on the bowl to add the measured ingredient. If you put the wrong amount in the bowl, you can empty it by clicking on the machine's disposal button.
An alternate version of Botley's info dialogue for the feeding machine. This line suggests that the machine was going to include a disposal button, which if pressed, would remove the incorrect amount from Mort's bowl. In-game, however, this is done by clicking the on-off switch.
KMH0H001
You'll probably have to add different measurements together to equal exactly what I want.
Some extra info about the measurement system that doesn't seem to play in-game, even in V1.0.
KMH0H002
You might think about adding fractions to give me what I need. Just remember that two quarter cups equal one half cup and that two halves, three thirds, and four quarters are all equal to one cup.
KMH0H003
If you're measuring large numbers, separate them into place values, then add the correct amount for each place value to my bowl.
KMH0H004
These are metric measurements. Just remember that one liter is the same as a thousand milliliters, and it might save you some time. By the way, one liter is just a little more than a quart.
KMH0H005
In case it's helpful, a quart is equal to four cups, and four quarts make one gallon.

Let's see, Plotley: If you can figure out which work of art I'm thinking about, I'll give you some invention points.
This line was supposed to be used when you click on the virtual collection after rescuing all 25 robots, but when you do so in-game, nothing happens. This was likely due to a programming error. On the other hand, you can still access the activity via the progress report.
Painting Gallery
There are three lines that would've been used if the player idles during the painting gallery activity. In the finished game, doing so in this activity doesn't seem to trigger any of this dialogue.

The Wheel of Invention is where we can figure out how to bring back Polly's time-meddling robot. Using all the mission clues you found in the mountain, the wheel can tell us our exact destination in history.

When Monty asks you a question, click on the answer you think is correct. If you're right, you'll go to the next question! If you're wrong, you'll have to try again, but for fewer points.
There's even voice clips of Monty Monitor reading all the possible answers to every question he asks in the entire game.
Note: There are 25 missions in the entire game, and each mission is comprised of 12 questions. Each question has three possible answers, giving us an overall total of 900. Because of this, I've decided to just include the first three questions.
