So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Live A Live (or "LIVE A ƎVI⅃", if you prefer) focuses on eight different characters, each from a different time period ranging from the prehistoric era to the distant future.

It's commonly regarded as one of Square's best games on the SNES, which is saying something given that Square also released Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG for the console. A remake in the HD-2D style of Octopath Traveler was released internationally on the Nintendo Switch in July 2022 and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam in April 2023.

Hmmm...
To do:
Replace images of fan translation with ones from the original Japanese version.

Hidden Graphics

A secret observer?

During the starting cutscene for the Caveman scenario, disabling Background Layer 1 reveals a hidden Gori sprite where a cave entrance would be.

Unused Abilities

He's going over that cliff!

Brown Cliff, judging by the game's naming scheme and its description of "Earth Magic/Drop boulders", would seem to be an Earth elemental move intended for Straybow. It has no animation or sound attached to the attack itself, resulting in a 5×5 area of damage from seemingly nothing.

Unused Text

Text is present for the save screen to display if a save is somehow unreadable, which never happens during normal gameplay.
