Dummy File
The extensionless file DMY, found in the folder NOUSE, is actually an LZH archive containing raw bitmap versions of the game's many rooms and screens, as well as files that notate segments (.tep) and animations (.tea). Some .psd project files and .tim images can also be found.
Two files, R58\X.BMP and R58\R58PTS.TIM, have also been intentionally broken and won't extract normally. To fix these, overwrite the blanked compression type string -----
at offsets 0x2 and 0x246 with -lh5-

Debug Mode
To access debug mode, apply the following GameShark code:

Some debug information will appear on the top of the screen if successful. After loading a save file (or starting a new game), the following actions can be performed:
Controller 1 Start: Freeze the game (while holding) Select: Reload the current screen. If indoors, it will switch between day/night. L1+R1: Activate scrolling mode. Use pad to scroll and cancel with Circle R2: Activate no-clipping mode (while holding)
Controller 2 Select: Access the chapter select menu. Use controller 1 to navigate the menu (left and right on the pad switch between menu pages) R1 - Display menu to edit some unknown values* R2 - Display alternate menu to edit some unknown values* *Navigate to the value with pad and increase/decrease the values with the X/Square/Triangle/Circle buttons.
The second page of the Chapter Select menu allows you to access additional features including Sound Test, Character Test, Battle Test and Map Check.
