Mappy (Game Gear)
Mappy |
---|
Developer: Nova[1] This game has unused graphics. This game has a Data Crystal page |
A port of Namco's classic rodent platforming game, complete with an exclusive "arrange" mode featuring new levels.
Level Select
At the title screen, press 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1, Start. In the following menu, there will be a number next to "MAPPY" which can be adjusted with Left/Right.
Unused Graphics
Found near all of Mappy's other graphics is this jump sprite that's never seen in-game. It could've been used for jumping on and off of trampolines, but instead it uses the first frame of the death animation. It's most likely leftover from the NES version of the game.
Secret Game Mode
On the title screen, enter the code 2, 1, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, Start. A secret minigame is unlocked where the player must pop incoming balloons.
