Unused Moo superboss fight

Careful, you'll lose an eye.
This page or section needs more images.
There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this.

There's an item you can pick up during the Kawrea expedition called the God Slate, and it's actually the entire reason why you take the expedition in the first place. While in-game it does absolutely nothing, there's remnants in the game's data for it to cause an invitational tournament to appear that pits you against an incredibly powerful Moo. Unfortunately, other than the battle itself, the rest of the event remains nonfunctional.

While the fight is programmed into the Japanese version, it was taken out of the international releases. It was brought back in all versions of Monster Rancher 1+2 DX, and the Moo was even given the nickname "Muu" when fought, since it's based on the original Japanese PSX release, but the battle still goes unused even there.

Elementary, my dear Cactus.
This needs some investigation.

Specifically: Can these be shown during gameplay?
