This page contains notes for the game Altered Beast (Genesis).

Hmmm...
To do:
If possible figure out which all of these are used and unused

Okay this is going to be very hasty, quick n dirty but hopefully this will aid me on researching this weird mess I discovered (see the main talk page).

Source of these entries are from the original 1988 Juuouki ROM. Note that the music snippets were cut short because Altered Beast's music is loooooooooong. Like so long not many even knew the Werewolf theme lasts up to 2 and a half minutes.

1. With songs 81-89, it fades out the songs (which I've never really heard being used before...). With sounds, it makes them stop. However, with some certain sustained sounds E0 struggles to halt them and strange glitches involving ADSR start happening.

E0 (no output) Doesn't output anything. Appears to be a "halt sound" envelope/signal, judging by how ongoing sounds respond to it. (1.)
E1
"Uooh!" This sound has the strange property of invoking the game's pseudo-multitasking with sounds: after this plays, it automatically plays after other samples finish playing.
