Pizza Tower/Unused Graphics/Unused Pepperman Graphics
This is a sub-page of Pizza Tower/Unused Graphics.
Pepperman was once chosen to be a playable character. He was originally going to be in the level Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator. Unlike other characters, he had an instant Mach 3 shoulder bash run and could instantly ground pound and could taunt, but only in mid-air for some odd reason.
However, McPig scrapped him due to him being considered a “restricted” character, and he didn’t want that for the cast, and now he is a boss, with his playable character animations being used in his boss fight. This page will not show the existing sprites that Pepperman uses in both his fight and as a playable character, but rather unused animations exclusive to being a playable character. Do keep in mind that Pepperman has very little sprites, so in-game, he will switch to Peppino’s sprites a lot.
Interestingly enough, some of his unanimated sprites were animated on a dev stream, but they never got ported to the final game.
(Note: Pepperman has a walking sprite, but it will not be shown as it is used in the Crumbling Tower of Pizza as his moving animation.)

Entering a door
Walking out of a door
Pepperman walking out of a door. It only has one frame of animation, so it happens rather quickly.
Entering a level
Pepperman entering a level and having the gate shut behind him. The second frame is used as the “Time’s up” sprite, however it had its own separate sprite with the exact same frame.
spr_pepperman_minidead_0
Pepperman getting hit at the very end of his bossfight. In-game, his falling animation gets used instead, most likely by mistake.
Taunts
All 12 of Pepperman's taunts. These taunts don't seem to have any references to anything. The last four of these were repurposed as idle animations and fully animated, but however, as mentioned above, they got never ported into the final game.
Halloween Build Boss Sprites
Way before Pepperman was the artistically perfect pepper we all know and love today, he was much different before the game's release. Debuting in the Halloween Build, he was a simple boss at the top of the Ancient Tower that would charge around the arena, trying to damage the player in the process. To be damaged, the player would have to slap him. On a sidenote, his sprites were also very much larger, but he was sized down for the final game's release, as he was planned to be playable character, but never saw the light of day.
Since then, his old boss sprites still exist in the game's files to this day, and come in three different palettes: Normal health, mid health, and low health.
