Uniqlo Contest Winner Shirt

In early 2019, a contest was held in Japan as a collaboration with the clothing design brand Uniqlo. This contest involved creating Pokémon-themed designs for shirts, with the Grand Prize-winning design being included in Sword and Shield as a customization option. The winners were announced in May 2019 with the screenshot at right (showing the Grand Prize winner's design in gameplay, worn by Gloria) being released, though whether this is a mockup or was actually taken in-game is unknown.

Eventually, it was discovered that the winning design (as well as another winner's design) had been sold by its creator before the contest, which breached the contest's rules. The design was disqualified, but no other Grand Prize winner was declared and the contest was officially abandoned aside from some lesser winners whose prizes didn't include anything related to the game.

Interestingly, there is an unused shirt in the released game, but it's not this design or any of the other winning entries.
