An image from some HE magazine article scan has a picture of an early version.
- The dashboard and Pep have an appearance similar to those of the first two games.
- The billboard text says "Opening soon!" and has "Cartown Zoo" in a different font
- A red worm (likely a cut clickpoint) is shown.
- Rocks are in a different location and are much smoother.
- Mr. Baldini's store has a red awning instead of a blue and yellow one.
