August

The Japanese title ワンダと巨像 (Wanda to Kyozou, meaning "Wander and the Colossus") was decided on. A matching title logo was also selected in consultation with in-house designers.[1]

September

On September 10th, a "Wanda to Kyozou Development Presentation Assembly" was held, geared towards the press. A live orchestral performance of the game's main theme song was also showcased as part of this event.[1]

October

Despite the aforementioned August date cited in regard to when the game's official Japanese title was chosen, in October, gaming news website Quiter recorded that Sony Computer Entertainment had trademarked the title "ニムロデの巨像 (Nimrod Colossus)"[2], or "Nimurode no Kyozou" (Nimrod's Colossi) in English. ("Nimrod", spelled backwards, is "Dormin", the name of the entity that bids Wander to destroy the Colossi in order to return the spirit of Mono to her body.) In the same article, Quiter speculates that this may be an older name for Wanda to Kyozou.
