This page details prerelease information and/or media for Tetris: The Grand Master.

Tetris: The Grand Master, also known as TGM1 or simply TGM, is a Tetris game developed solely for the Sony ZN2 arcade system board by Arika. It follows on from Sega's 1988 Tetris, aiming to give expert players a new challenge. It spawned three sequels, Tetris: The Absolute: The Grand Master 2 PLUS, Tetris: The Grand Master 3 - Terror Instinct, and Tetris: The Grand Master ACE.

Flyer differences

There are a couple of differences between the screenshots in the game's promotional flyer and the completed release. The timer displayed at the bottom of the playfield has a different font and there is no Mastering Time section of the information. It is not known why these changes were made, though Mastering Time was probably added in the final game to compare efficiency between runs.
