Proto:Genshin Impact/Version 1.1 Development Build
This is a sub-page of Proto:Genshin Impact.
To do: Check if there are any differences with content that was in the official v1.1 release. |
Leaked on December 24, 2022, this dev build is based on a beta of version 1.1. Similar to other dev builds, it can be partially played offline and has access to numerous debugging features.
Due to sharing much of the same functionality, refer to the v1.5 dev build's page for general info, as this page will only cover specifics to this version.
How to Play
- Extract the contents of 1002_1.1-1241072_1.1_dev-1283819_.zip.
- A zip file named win_debug.zip should be in the folder. Extract this to the same folder where YuanShen.exe is.
- Delete/Rename YuanShen.exe. Rename WindowsPlayer.exe to YuanShen.exe instead.
- In the folder YuanShen_Data\Native, edit the file UserAssembly.dll with a hex editor. (This will allow offline access to the GM debug menu while playing.)
- Go to offset 0x801d1c1. Replace the bytes 40 88 b1 00 01 00 00 with c6 81 00 01 00 00 01.
- Go to offset 0x801d1d6. Replace the bytes 40 88 b1 01 01 00 00 with c6 81 01 01 00 00 01.
- Start the game and click on the upper-left box that says 显示选服界面. This will bring you to the Selection Interface to choose an area in the game to load.
Avatars (Characters)
Upon first entering an area, each party member will spawn in alongside your active character. Switching to the other characters will make them disappear.
Characters may also be stuck only being able to do their first normal attack. This can sometimes be resolved by doing their burst, though it doesn't work with all characters. (This is likely an effect of the dev build lacking a server.)
To add characters, use the GM menu's "Add Avatar" button. New characters added to the party will have their energy and stats corrected upon reloading the area.
Hu Tao
An early iteration of Hu Tao's avatar is present in this build. This likely marks her first playable appearance, since only her model was included in CBT1. Although her design appears to have been finalized at this point, her animations and UI assets are clearly not. She is absent in the v1.2 dev build, not reappearing until her official release in v1.3.
- Name is spelt as "Hutao" instead of "Hu Tao".
- Normal attacks look stilted and unfinished.
- Charged attack has a different animation where she hangs onto her hat and uses her weapon to support her return to stance.
- Normal attacks with her skill are in a similar state to when her skill is not enabled. Her charged attack in this state appears to be copied from Zhongli, with her eyes displaced.
- When doing a plunge attack with her skill, Anemo effects from Xiao's plunge attack can briefly be seen.
- Her burst uses the same animation as Childe's while he's in melee stance; complete with her model elongating to his size.
- No facial expressions aside from her default.
- Her coattails and hair are not animated properly during movement, staying stiff and clipping through her limbs. They are animated properly while she stands still, at least.
- No idle animations.
- No sound effects for any of her attacks.
- When viewed in the character menu, she is sitting in the ground and doesn't move when selecting a weapon or artifacts. Her description simply denotes her as a "Test Character".
- No talents, constellation, or profile information.
- All of her UI assets are a placeholder question mark.
