This is a sub-page of Proto:LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation 3)/June 2008 Recovery.

The Gardens

First Steps

  • Dumpty uses a different design.
  • The Playstation Eye tutorial is omitted.

Get a Grip

  • The Polystyrene slope the player grabs onto is noticeably less rounded.
  • Dumpty introduces the challenges, as Little Xim and Big Xam are not in this build.
  • The audience that appears while the player rides down the Wooden Steed at the end is missing.

Skate to Victory

  • The level takes place during the day, as opposed to night in the final game.
  • An extra sticker switch is at the start of the level.
  • A bird introduces the Jetpack instead of Dumpty. Speaking of Dumpty, his final design is also seen here, telling the player how to get into the castle.
  • The player can get on top of the castle, where the drawbridge mechanism is located. A big boot is blocking the way off to the rest of the castle, however.
  • At the start of the castle, there is a button that closes the door again.
  • The Collector's Dumpty disguise is not shown in this level.
  • The level would originally be a bit longer, having the player need to use the Sticker & Decoration Edit Tool to clean a dirty boat.
  • Stephen Fry's dialogue when you unlock Get a Grip is instead used for when you unlock Swinging Safari.

The Savannah

Swinging Safari

  • The submarine does not launch the player far enough to reach Zola's Statue, making the level unbeatable via normal means.
  • The Giraffe necks are noticeably less stiff than they are in the final game.
  • At the halfway point of the level, the ground that the Monkeys leap up from is not on fire. This part also uses two layers allowing the player to walk past them.
  • In this build, Zola is a baboon.

Burning Forest

  • Crocodiles would've originally appeared as enemies.

Meerkat Kingdom

  • The meerkats looked a lot different.
  • The sequence where the player grabs Stripy Tail would've been different, with them needing to take other meerkats out in order to get him.
