The party (and what's left of Granseal's population) is on the high seas. Sarah quickly gets seasick.

April Script

Final Script
April Script
Sorry, Kiwi...I can't play with you now...
Final Script
Sorry, Kiwi...I can't do anything right now....
April Script

June Script
Final Script
Kiwi has, in fact, spotted land.
April Script
Sir Astral, we can see the continent!
Final Script
Sir Astral, we can see the mainland!
Astral tells the King.
April Script
Oh yeah?...that's good...
Final Script
Astral tells the captain to land the ship...into the coast. This would wreck the ship, but since they're going to tear it apart for lumber anyway, it doesn't matter. So, into the shore it goes.
In the ship's hold, deconstruction (Literal, not literary) is already underway.
April Script
We're going to break the ship up into pieces and buildou r new town....
Final Script
We're going to break the ship up into pieces and build our new town....
Jaha realizes that means they can't go back to Grans Island now.
April Script
Shut up. Everybody knows.
Final Script
To curtail Jaha's apparent idiocy, she asks him to help pull up a particularly persnickety plank.
April Script
Heave! Heave! Uuuooooowwww!
Final Script
Heave! Heave! Come oooooooooon!
Jaha manages to uproot the plank...and his body. He flies out of the ship, leaving a Jaha-shaped hole in its side.
April Script
It's OK. It's a good lesson for Jaha!
Final Script
That's okay. Jaha needed a bath anyway.
Translation Notes
Again, the translators spice up the game's dialogue by injecting more humor.
Meanwhile, with Kazin and Bowie...
April Script
Bowie, bring it up to the deck first.
Final Script
Bowie, bring that plank above deck.
In a shocking development, Bowie brings that plank above deck. He offloads the plank to a gray-haired gentleman.
April Script
We need many more planks to for the new town!
Final Script
We need a lot of planks for our new town!
In a significantly less surprising moment, a sailor walks onto the deck and starts screaming about stuff.

Final Script

April Script
One of my friends has not returned from the north cliff yet. It shouldn't take this long. He may be in a trouble.
Final Script
One of my friends has not returned from North Cliff. He may be in trouble.
Translation Notes
The early scripts are inconsistent with having North Cliff be the actual location name or just a descriptor. It's the location's proper name in the final draft.
Oh. The ship captain asks Bowie if he can help. Since the captain literally can't take no for an answer, Bowie agrees to help the sailor.
April Script
Final Script
A still soggy Jaha runs back onto the ship, and the rest of the crew emerges from the hold.
April Script
I think it's too dangerous to go to a strange place without friends.
Final Script
I think it's too dangerous out there alone.
April Script
OK, OK! I got it! It would be safer to go as a group. Let's go.
Final Script
And... It would be safer if we came along. Let's go.
Translation Notes
The line in the April script seems to be coming from the sailor, but the final script's dialogue comes from an anonymous member of the force.
The crew heads to North Cliff.
North Cliff
At the foot of the cliff, the second sailor is stuck sideways. After fighting another gaggle of ghouls, Bowie helps the sailor up. The first sailor asks what happened.
April Script
...Oooh...unh...a big rock... is falling down on me...
Final Script
Oooh...unh...a big rock... fell on me....
The first sailor asks where this supposed "rock" is.
April Script
Final Script
The second sailor notices Bowie's magnificent presence and asks why he came.
April Script
What a fool! We came to help you. You would be dead if we were not here.
Final Script
What a fool. We came to help you! You would be dead if we hadn't come.
Then the second sailor remembers...the rest of the story.
April Script
A huge rock suddenly fell on me after you had left here. I must have fainted. Anyway, thank you. Look at that? The tunnel is now blocked by the rock.
Final Script
A huge rock fell on me after you left. It must have knocked me out. Anyway, thank you. Look at that! The tunnel is blocked by a rockslide.
Everyone looks over to where the tunnel entrance is...somehow. He's right.
April Script
There might be some treasures inside.... But, it's too late.
Final Script
Treasures may lie within.... I guess we'll never know.
April Script
[Hero], let's go back to the town before we meet any more monsters.
Final Script
[Hero], let's go back to the ship.
Translation Notes
Obviously there's no town there yet, but come on. He just got hit on the head with a boulder.
Western Coast
The ship is gone now. In true SimCity-esque fashion, the new, more compact Granseal springs up from the ground.
April Script
Final Script
Wow, there's our new town!
Their work done, Bowie, the sailor, and the other sailor who looks just like him head into their new town.
April Script
They worked hard to re-build their new town.
June Script
They worked hard to rebuild their new town.
Final Script
They worked hard to build their new town.
Translation Notes
The narrator, however, isn't subject to any boulders from within the narrative, and as such has no excuse for this.
Area Dialogue
Slade helps out the only way he knows how.
April Script
Pull out a nail, hey! Pull out a nail! Wow, this fun!
Final Script
Boy, I sure hope Jaha can swim....
A sailor below deck mentions North Cliff's importance.
April Script
They're mining stones for our buildings at the north cliff.
Final Script
They're mining granite for our town at North Cliff.
