Bowie and friends saunter into Ribble. One blonde-haired boy spots him.

The boy runs to the mayor's house. Every other house in the town is locked, so Bowie follows. He's quickly pushed out of the Mayor's house by the man himself, who asks who (and what) they are.
The boy tells the Mayor that there must be soldiers waiting behind the gate. The Mayor, now furious, asks why they're here.

Then, as quickly as fading to black, the townspeople emerge from their now unlocked homes.
At the gate, a female centaur comments on the cowardice of her neighbors.

The Cave of Darkness at least has a spotlighter on point, so the place isn't totally dark.

Paseran blocks the entrance to this shrine for plot reasons. At least he gives some backstory on the place.
