Cape Claw

The HighTop you meet in Cape Claw is supposed to warn you not to go swimming, however the associated audio is not used and only the subtitles show.

Cloudrunner Fortress

Among the speech for the cutscene in the treasure room where Krystal confronts General Scales on his survival from the Galleon is a line spoken by him that was either cut or never implemented.

Desert Force Point Temple

On Krystal's first visit to the temple, entering the room with the spellstone holder gives a short cutscene where Kyte erroneously uses the wrong sound file (from Warlock Mountain). The developers may have intended to use the first part of the used dialogue only, where Kyte says "Krystal" in order to save a tiny amount of cartridge space by recycling that line and not recording it again. The game uses this technique in a few other places. There is also an unused higher quality variant.

DD44 Dostovei

What appears to be the firing sound of the DD44 Dostovei from Goldeneye.


Unused Death Sound

The sound heard when enemies are defeated and characters pass away in prerelease footage is still in the files along with its associated animation. However, in the December build they have been replaced with a red mist and different death animations.


Unused Pickup Sound

The music heard when picking up an item in prerelease footage is still tucked away among the games' instrument samples along with an alternative version.
