Gamehut videos on unseen prototypes

Not sure if any of you guys saw this, but Jon Burton, one of the lead programmers for the game, has recently started a youtube channel where he goes back and shows coding techniques and unseen prototypes. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfVFSjHQ57zyxajhhRc7i0g

Here's a playlist of stuff from Sonic games he's worked on, includes prototypes for Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic R. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLi29TNPrdbwKNFuYD7enSPgI_q8sCJV3_

What is interesting to note is that they considered putting split screen into the game, as well as a version of the game split into two parts for the Sega channel. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Joe411 (talk • contribs)

We've seen the videos, but they can't be included here as the prototypes in question have largely not been dumped/released yet (only a tech demo for Puggsy has been released and that's very barebones). There's also legal issues involved in releasing those prototypes, so we're going to have to wait some time first. --From: divingkataetheweirdo (talk) 11:49, 30 September 2017 (EDT)

Note from saan1ty

I tidied up the prototype page by adding separate pages for the 831 and 94 prototypes because it seemed odd to have them on the main page whereas all the others have their own pages. saan1ty (talk) 04:18, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
