Hmmm...
To do:
There's three songs from Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum on the disc. Figure out if these are unused or not.

Unused Video

Embedded in a file on the disc called D_MOVIE are two unused videos. The first one is the video to the left, detailing what looks to be a sample demo movie of the game, but in Japanese. The second video is a copy of the opening movie.

The Japanese sample demo video appears to be recorded from an earlier build of the game (one that might have been intended for release in Japan, though the final game ultimately never had a Japanese release), judging by the different-looking text box than what was used in the final game. The cutscene in question does not appear to have an English equivalent in the final game, but given that it appears to be a near-direct adaptation of a specific part from the original manga's 64th chapter from volume 8 (Ceremonious Decision according to the official English manga translation), it could have feasibly showed up at the end of this game's fourth chapter, The Return of Tao Len, which instead used a different cutscene in the final game.

Below is a translation of the sample demo video cutscene. Please note that while in-game one of the characters is referred to as Tao Len (to be consistent with the 4Kids dub of the 2001 anime adaptation that was current at the time of the game's release), the translation below opts to refer to that character as Tao Ren to ensure a more accurate translation, and to be consistent with English-language Shaman King material currently being sold, such as the Kodansha manga release and the 2021 anime adaptation available on Netflix.

Tao Ren:

Damn. I knew I had lost.

Tao Ren:

…Hmph. It was obvious from the beginning. I knew it all along.

Tao Ren:

No matter how hard I tried to beat Yoh, he manages to slip by, like wind or water.

Tao Ren:

But all I can do is crush my opponent as powerfully as possible…

Tao Ren:

I kept telling myself that this is the best way to go, but now I think I finally realize.

Tao Ren:

Neither the wind or the water can be crushed with power.

Yoh Asakura:

Tao Ren:

Being drained of all my power feels oddly refreshing.

Tao Ren:

Yoh Asakura… It's a shame for me to admit, but you've won this battle.

Yoh Asakura:

W… wait, Ren.

Yoh Asakura:

My power's been fully drained, too.

Yoh Asakura:

Oh my God!! If I lose this battle, Anna will kill me!!

Yoh Asakura:

Help!

Tao Ren:

W- what the hell?!!

Tao Ren:

What do you mean you've run out of power too?! How are we supposed to determine who won then?!!

Yoh Asakura:

Why didn't you keep track?! You're the one who didn't pay attention!

Tao Ren:

What the hell is wrong with you?!

つば!

Yoh Asakura:

Spit!

Tao Ren:

What?!

Yoh Asakura:

Don't get your spit on me!
