Proper write-up of all Battle Debug options.

This debug menu can be loaded in any version of the game, tested in JPN, TWN, NA, EUR versions. In all versions the list is blank, though the options in the list can still be selected.

The main menu contains 20 items:

Name Image Description
GAME START Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-1 GAME START.png This is the first option in the debug menu that leads to the game's title screen.
EPL EDITOR Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-2 EPL EDITOR.png Effect/Particle Editor, possibly non-functional.
NAVI Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-3 NAVI.png Navigation test.
EVENT VIEW Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-4 EVENT VIEW.png The text is not visible, the first option leads you to Aquila Plaza.
BATTLE Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-5 BATTLE.png After selecting Battle once, no menu is visible. Press Right on the D-Pad a few times and then press A to start a fight.
Wrap up this fight any way you want. Once it is concluded, you will see the proper Battle debug menu. SMT4 Battle debug menu.png
MAP Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-6 MAP.png Spawns you on the first map in the Map List index, which is Government Office Plaza in Shinjuku.
QUEST CENTER Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-7 QUEST CENTER.png Seems broken.
LMAP Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-8 LMAP.png World Map.
SHOP Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-9 SHOP.png Shop test.
NAME Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-10 NAME.png Character name entry.
BIBLE Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-11 BIBLE.png "BIBLE" is an alternate name for the Grimoire, a special menu for the aforementioned cut "Legion Skills" feature. The fact this option even exists seems to indicate the Grimoire was worked on at some point, but in the final game this menu doesn't work, indicating that either the coding has been removed or is too old to be compatible.
TERMINAL Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-12 TERMINAL.png A very basic menu that allows you to travel between terminals.
MIKADO Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-13 MIKADO.png Mikado castle.
SOUND TEST Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-11 BIBLE.png This Sound Test actually works, but there are no longer related graphics displayed for it.
NPC ROOM Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-11 BIBLE.png Unknown; seems broken.
ONE'S ROOM Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-16 ONE'S ROOM.png This allows you to select and run any room.
STAFFROLL Shin-Megami-Tensei-IV-17 STAFFROLL.png Credits sequence.

Save File
This save file will trigger the Debug Menu after loading. This will crash on real hardware if you go to the inventory (sorry for that).
