Hmmm...
To do:
  • Dump the English and Japanese text/messages.
  • There's graphics for the Jordan F1 team (which had a horrendous season in both 1992 and 1993, the F1 seasons the game is based on).
  • There's also graphics for cut Belgian and USA tracks, as well as a FOCA/Fuji Television credit.

Slip Stream is a racing game that was intended to be released in the US and Japan. Oddly enough, it didn't get those releases and ended up in Latin America instead.

Unused Graphics

SlipStream-button1.png SlipStream-button2.png

A joystick and a button which are never used.

Various filler tiles found among the background graphics.

Some of the graphics for the car shadow and tires contain hidden numbers and letters which can't be seen because they're always obscured in game.

Incomplete graphics for a Winners Don't Use Drugs screen exist, but are never used since the game was never released in North America.

Swear Filter Oddity

Like most arcade games, Slip Stream uses a swear filter to prevent players from entering offensive terms in the name entry. Interestingly, one of these is SNK.
