Stones II is a mancala game that uses the "chattering teletype" computer noise from 1960s Star Trek to convey how hard it's thinking about its next move.

A memory shortage is supposed to provoke this James Doohan impression, but experimentation was unsuccessful at drawing it out. Lowering the RAM allocation either disabled the background art while still permitting maximum-difficulty games to play out, or triggered an outright crash.
