A Contra game but with cowboys, agile protagonists, and cartoonish goofiness.

Speech bubbles about already having something. Purpose unknown.

Alongside the enemies we shoot in the first-person bonus stages, there was also meant to be a target we had to avoid: a woman in a dress that apparently would've raised her hands when aimed at. What shooting her would've done is unknown.

The game's US sets are the only ones to not have the mechanic of scored-based extra lives, and so its setting is also missing in the Game Options menu. In non-US sets, this mechanic can be set in Game Options as: "1st at 20,000 pts / 2nd at 200,000", "1st at 30,000 pts / 2nd at 300,000", "1st at 100000", or "No extra life".

Along with the score-based extra lives, the US sets also have the 1UP item completely absent: In other sets, this item appears only once, in the section of the Chief Scalpem stage before the boss fight, where the players can get it by jumping on the first ledge if they are quick. In the US sets, a $2000 gold pile is in its place instead.
