Game & Watch Collection

What exactly does it mean about loading Game & Watch Collection? Does it actually contain an entire unlicensed ROM of a Nintendo game? Wouldn't that be a huge legal risk for Datel? Thinking about it more, I guess G&WC is probably one of the smallest DS games out there. And it wasn't intended to be playable. So maybe they could have argued that it was fair use because copying was a necessary step for interoperability and they did the minimum that they could. Flarn2006 (talk) 02:19, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

Based on the Hackmii post I referenced, it does include the minimum amount needed, though still a lot (912Kb, out of a total of 8192Kb according to no-intro). I'm not sure whether they actually include a full copy (the Hackmii post implies they don't since it apparently ignores the read offset), nor how the case where it ends up actually loading Game & Watch Collection works (which isn't in the Hackmii post but was here before). --Pokechu22 (talk) 02:24, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Google told me that the G&WC ROM is only 815.86 KB. Flarn2006 (talk) 03:00, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
If you import a Action Replay save with DesMuMe and choose "AUTO from imported datasize" it actually load G&W Collection --BlueYoshi (talk) 17:36, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
