To anyone who is experienced with the opening of obscure file types; how do I open .ngw and .raw files? I think these are the level files, and if I'm correct, I just found an unused bonus level! --From: ExtremeSpyro

.ngw might be used with NGRAIN, but .raw files could be just about anything. If neither of those work, try finding an extractor to at least see what textures are lurking beneath. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 16:55, 10 April 2012 (EDT)

Link is dead. --From: ExtremeSpyro

Never mind, I found the official website for ngrain. Do I download the viewer? --From: ExtremeSpyro

I tried WinRAR and NGRAIN Viewer, they did not work. --From: ExtremeSpyro

An example of an extractor I'm referring to [www.watto.org/extract/ is this one]. As for the .ngw files, I can only speculate that they're for an earlier version of ngrain. --From: divingkataetheweirdo 17:18, 10 April 2012 (EDT)

That didn't work either. I bet it's a special file type that was made for the specific software that they used to make the game. --From: ExtremeSpyro

While it's a random attempt, if you're interested in seeing the level, you could just try renaming it to another file that is used in the game. That way when the game loads, say, the level 1 file, it will instead load what you think is the unused level.--Celice 03:53, 11 April 2012 (EDT)

Hey, that's actually a good idea! I'll try that. --From: ExtremeSpyro

In the folder gfx in game data, where the loading screens are located, there are 3 images not used in the game. boss, bonus and gamewin which are actually leftovers from Toy Story 2 game.
