Many more cut out vehicles

So I've been looking through the police scanner audio and I've discovered tons of snippets referring to vehicles that aren't in the game. They include:
Police Fugitive
Willard
Hellfury
Hakumai
Stunt
Hunter
Marbelle
Seaplane
Feroci
Slamvan
RC Bandito
Wayfarer
Dukes
Faction
Vulkan

I would put them here, but I can't get them to convert properly (they come out high pitched chimpmunk like). Could someone who can rip them properly do that? --DrTremolo (talk) 18:53, 22 March 2014 (EDT)

California License Plate

There is a truck bed which looks like it could be from the standard pickup truck version of the tow truck, there is a license plate on it which reads "California CMD 725". It is always in front of the lost motorcycle club's main base, and always has the same plate. -- CatchallRat682 (talk) 20:47, 28 April 2014 (EDT)

Ghost Trains

I have seen several trains start to spawn on the railroad in most areas, these can range from long consists to one or two cars. They have no locomotive, are not registered by other users or npc characters online or in single player, and can move from a quick pace to a slow crawl. I can confirm that they DO slow down and eventually stop. -- CatchallRat682 (talk) 20:47, 28 April 2014 (EDT)

Source code leak

This part here mentions a leak of the source code, but I cannot find anything online that proves that there was a source code leak; by what I can find, it's just a xml file included with the game which obviously cannot be considered source code -- should that be changed? --Sandbox (talk) 21:41, 30 May 2014 (EDT)

IAA Building Oddities

Should we discuss the "unused" areas in the IAA building? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrcraRtDTtg Devann (talk) 17:02, 3 November 2014 (EST)

Technically the place you enter into is used in a mission in single player, but you don't see the other rooms such as the washroom and security camera room. I'd say its an OK thing to add as long as those things are specified. --squarewaveSpades (talk) 19:10, 25 April 2015 (EDT)

PC Version

Now that the PC version is out, should we find stuff in there? I dont have the PC version, but someone who does could look into the files. --squarewaveSpades (talk) 19:01, 25 April 2015 (EDT)

OpenIV doesn't fully open the PC version's files just yet. That said, we should proooobably change the page's title now that all the versions of the game are out.TheKins (talk) 04:42, 28 April 2015 (EDT)
I had heard OpenIV supports opening files, just not specifically modding them yet. squarewaveSpades (talk) 11:28, 4 May 2015 (EDT)

PlayStation4 and Xbox One

There are differences between old generation and new generation. Can some one document the differences. --Addablestone13 Don't really think it'll be necessary since we're more focused on unused content rather than the remaster's differences in general. --Donetsu52 (talk) 21:32, 11 July 2015 CST

Progen has actually been added to the game, manufacturing the Progen T20 supercar.

Original Song(s) from the Mission Complete Tunes

Franklin's unused Mission Complete Tunes seem to come from this song which was originally released in 2008 but isn't used in the final game. The wierd thing is, the artists remixed the song in 2014 in which the parts of the unused Mission Complete Tunes sound slightly different. Would this be worth adding to the article?

Also, does this mean the unused songs for the other characters originate from real songs that didn't make it into the final version? --Andi36356 (talk) 11:46, 22 October 2015 (EDT)

Additional stuff

So there's actually an unused police uniform for Michael. This isn't to be confused with the Highway patrol outfit, which IS used. This is a completely different outfit and resembles a typical LSPD officer outfit. Also, in the PS4/XBOX One/PC versions, the Director Mode actor select location has a fish tank that cannot be seen by normal means. It seems originally, they planned to have the sea animals selectable in Director Mode but for whatever reason it didn't happen and you can only use them while in story mode after eating Peyote underwater. Possible anti-piracy method?

My brother just told me of an anecdote he had in the online mode of the game where he was unable to select his player character in the PS4 version of the game because he had "cheated" in the PS3 version, and had to make a new character from scratch, however he never actually used any cheats and merely played on an unlicensed copy of the game (we play on the same PS3). I think it's possible there may be some authentication measure in the cloud servers to detect whether a copy is licensed or not. --ToonLucas22 (talk) 19:25, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
