Special Custom

I remember activating the extra options menu on the normal hardware back in the day, without the use of a cheat device. Some cursory research shows that if you hold A+B+X+Y on controller 2 and reset the game (purportedly after starting a regular game first), then release the buttons, you will enable the extra menu. --GuyPerfect 17:34, 18 April 2012 (EDT)

It works if you hold down ABXY on controller 2 on power-on as well... however, the normal Special Custom menu only has the first four options; the remaining options can only be unlocked using that PAR code --Schala 17:38, 18 April 2012 (EDT)
