Page Cleanup

I know we're granted a fair amount of freedom when it comes to wisecracks and wit in our articles, but this is just ridiculous. I have no idea what is what. Most of the inside content is thorough enough and the jokes within them are fine (Johnny Sasaki etc), but could you make the titles match the rest of the wiki please? Unused *this*, Leftover *that*. You know the deal. Tanks 01:12, 22 September 2012 (EDT)

I'm pretty sure I actually heard Ocelot say "What're you aiming at?" when I fought him. MightyKombat 00:14, 23 September 2012 (EDT)

Proto / Demo versions

There's this guy who made an awesome video of some of the hidden and unused content in the demo versions of the game.

I'm considering adding his findings, but it's a hell of a thing for one person to do on his own. // Foxhack 00:53, 22 September 2012 (EDT)

Unused Ocelet Sound Clip

That don't sound like Ocelot. Possibly a unused character? Can't think of who that could be, but it don't sound like Ocelot. Unless he was gonna have a different voice actor at some point.--MathUser 20:17, 6 April 2013 (EDT)

Also, "Where are you looking" I think plays when Grey fox is invisible and you can't find him. I'm sure Liquid says "You don't want to save the girl" too.--MathUser 20:20, 6 April 2013 (EDT)
Apparently I wasn't the only one who thinks it's Ocelot. As for the others, it was yonks ago now but I did run around in the boss fights with both the Ninja and Liquid not attacking them, and never heard those lines. Entirely possible I was just unlucky though. Thefanman 17:06, 7 April 2013 (EDT)
Well, if it's Ocelot, it sounds like a different voice actor. Maybe a stand-in before the final actors were hired. I wonder what makes them think the person saying the line is Ocelot, cause it don't sound like him.--MathUser 18:23, 7 April 2013 (EDT)

Unused?

It was a long time since I last played the game, but doesn't Liquid say it? I'm sure I heard it more than once. (Or similar, like the "You're out of time" voice.) If not in the timed hand-to-hand fight, either during the Hind D or Rex battles and the final chase. Also, if memory doesn't fail me, if Solid Snake is knocked down and stays in the floor OR hang on Rex after falling (either way, don't touch any button), Liquid will say "Get up" and kick him. --Metalman 14:06, 18 July 2013 (EDT)

Dev tool leftover?

If you hold the circle button on player 2's controller during the final battle with liquid on top of rex, some kinda game information appears in the top left corner of the screen.

Not Unused Music

The unused music is wrong, it's just some music played with a wrong instrument. Recommending disposing off that information.

Ocelot voice in Italian version in Game Over screen

Hello everyone, I've been a player of MGS on PS1 of the Italian version for a long time. I remember perfectly the voice of Ocelot, who said, on the screen of Game Over "Poor idiot, stupid idiot" in Italian, if you tried to defeat him in the boss battle using the grenades and killing Baker. Unfortunately I no longer have the disk to check, I was looking for the equivalent in the English version, so I was wondering if it could be a translated version of Ocelot's "Nice going, hero" which is marked as unused. Thanks in advance for your opinions!--Upgrade25 (talk) 08:35, 5 December 2018 (EST)
