Minecart with Command Block

When I place a minecart with command block on a rail, it spawns an normal minecart that is rideable instead of a shadow. The preceding unsigned comment was added by MCDiamond (talk • contribs)

Debug menus

There are quite a few debug menus in the game, but I don't know how to access them. Is there a way to modify the game so that these show up in game?

Filenames:

In TU1:

  • xuiscene_debug.xur
  • xuiscene_debug.xus
  • xuiscene_debug_480.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_480.xus
  • xuiscene_debug_small.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_small.xus
  • xuiscene_debugoverlay.xur
  • xuiscene_debugoverlay.xus
  • xuiscene_debugoverlay_480.xur
  • xuiscene_debugoverlay_480.xus

TU51:

  • xuiscene_debug.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_480.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_fill_area.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_item_editor.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_puppeteer.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_schematic_create.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_set_camera.xur
  • xuiscene_debug_small.xur
  • xuiscene_debugoverlay.xur
  • xuiscene_debugoverlay_480.xur
  • xuiscene_debugtips.xur
  • xuiscene_debugtips_480.xur
  • xuiscene_debugtips_small.xur

Command Blocks

Are Command Blocks actually used in the tutorial worlds? The tutorial worlds use GRF files to set the spawn, health, and inventory, not command blocks. The preceding unsigned comment was added by MCDiamond (talk • contribs)

More odd files

There are more weird files in the game. Found in the TU51 game files, in the executable.

  • xuiscene_skinselect_Mockup.xur
  • xuiscene_skinselect_480_Mockup.xur
  • xuiscene_testscene.xur
  • xuiscene_partnernetpassword.xur

Documenting title update differences

Should notable differences between updates be documented? The official changelogs are often inaccurate as to when things were actually included in the game, for example apples were fully functional as early as TU1 (albeit inaccessible without a save editor) before the were "added", same goes for sponges and webs, these being unused in the files lines up with the equivalent java update (beta 1.6).

Command Blocks: Dispensers

A few years ago, I had discovered that dispensers could dispense command blocks in the legacy editions of Minecraft. This feature is a little less known, however, it continued to be in the game, despite newer updates that match Java that removed this feature.

This feature was, well, patched when the developers removed the Command Blocks in a certain update, and around the end of the development of Minecraft: Console Edition, later re-added Command Blocks, however removed the feature of Dispensers placing them.

When they were removed, the block acted like it was a solid with no texture, which created an X-Ray effect. Later, aving Command Blocks, whether placed or in the inventory, would crash the game.

One more interesting note: All three data values of the Command Blocks were added back later. (Impulse, Chain, & Repeat)

Here's an old LQ video of this feature. Hopefully someone can create a Better Version of the showcase:

Unused Potion Effects: Glowing

While Spectral Arrows may be unused, so is its potion effect. When given the effect is modded in, there's and icon, but there's no glowing effect/outline applied to the player. This also applies to any other entity that's given the effect, and is interesting that the Spectral Arrow item doesn't give these effects, even that it's unused.

Leftovers: The Uncraftable Potion

Although like Java Edition, there exists a leftover, the "Uncraftable Potion" that isn't in the creative inventory, and like Java again, has no effects.

Unused graphics incorrect?

Aren't the graphics for the JE menu used? You can enable them in settings I believe
