I've never played this game, but after listening to some of the music that was cut I decided to look at a longplay of it on YouTube. On the page there's a sinister version of what is said to be the main theme of the game, but I couldn't find the "normal" version of that song anywhere in the longplay. In fact, it doesn't sound like any other song in the game. To my ears, it sounds like a twisted version of Giorgio Moroder's "Bastian's Happy Flight" from The Neverending Story's soundtrack: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvuteGIuAbc

Its probably just a weird coincidence, but Neverending Story had been out for a few years by that time. NESter
