Earliest version?
Apparently there's a version of the game simply titled "Shit!", which has a different title screen and predates both "Oh Shit!" and "Oh No!". Would anybody happen to have a copy of it so that it can be documented?
On a semi-related note, the death screens for "Oh Shit!" and "Oh No!" are different, but aren't documented in the differences section. --Murnjendoof (talk) 10:23, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
- "Shit!" and "Oh Shit!" are the exact same ROM. Pgj1997 (talk) 19:32, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
- That's odd, because I remember the manual for "Shit!" including an image of a title screen that looks very different to that of "Oh Shit!" --Murnjendoof (talk) 21:14, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
NSFW reason edit
Can someone please explain why removing the use of 2nd voice - something that, outside of direct quotes, should never appear in a wiki - and replacing it with an actual description of the NSFW content is so controversial here? Jtrevor99 (talk) 13:32, 10 July 2024 (UTC) If you don't like what I came up with, find some wording yourself that actually describes the content and doesn't use "you". That's all I care about. …does it really need to be said that a game titled "Oh Shit" will feature rude language? It speaks for itself, really. N. Onymous (talk) 14:25, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- I think you're failing to realise that tcrf is a bit more casual than other wikis when it comes to stuff like this. That's why the opening paragraphs of most articles contain jokes and/or subjective assessments of the games' quality. Use of second-person voice in this context is perfectly fine by tcrf's rules. Does that clear up any confusion? --Murnjendoof (talk) 14:52, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- I'm just trying to introduce some consistency with the other articles. I really don't care that much. I'm not sure why other people seem to care so much about not actually providing useful information in the warning, but whatever. Jtrevor99 (talk) 15:19, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- ...as stated earlier, the article's title provides enough "useful information" already. For this reason, it's acceptable to have a little fun with the content warning. --Murnjendoof (talk) 15:24, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
