In discussions with The Admiral on his breakdown of Shadowrun, it comes up that apparently there was a dummied out datafile named DF_DS-PUSHKIN with the label still in the game's text dump:

It is also noted in his FAQ that there was a phone number to dial Wastelands (to speak with the bartender) that is still in the game but not accessible. There are also three keywords that are not accessible, Arena, Scalper, and Norbert -- but only the last two will yield a "response" when used. A link to The Admiral's FAQ:

Secret Cheat Room Warp?

In the latest issue of Retro Gamer magazine, there's an interview with this game's developers. They mention that there's a cheat room of some kind, but can't remember how to get to it and offer two half-remembered descriptions.

"There is a cheat in the game, but I can't remember exactly how to do it. Basically, there is a flickering streetlight in the first street area after you wake up from the morgue. If you examine the Matchbox four times around the flickering light, you're teleported to a cheat room that contains a bunch of upgrades and gives access to all of the levels"

"There is an easter egg in the game. A certain dance around a lamppost in the main square that was put in for QA. I wish I could remember the actual cheat but it was 20 years ago"

There has been some work towards finding it in this thread as they've gotten the matchbox to beep(?!) when interacted with. Anyone willing to use some hack-fu to figure it out? -TheKins (talk) 12:04, 20 September 2013 (EDT)
