Extended demo sequences + Earlier build shown in screenshots
The demos in Super Mario World's attract sequence actually play out for much longer if the player's HP is frozen through memory editing, I haven't compared the inputs but I would assume they're the same as Squirrel King's demos. Additionally, one of Squirrel King's demos (particularly the 2nd demo sequence in the forest stage) also goes on for a bit longer if the same type of cheats are applied, possibly indicating that it might have been recorded with an earlier level layout or stage order. Is any of this worth noting in the article?
Additionally, the boxart of the game's initial print appears to show a screenshot (bottom left of back cover) of an earlier build, depicting Mario & Luigi in a level that's only present in Squirrel King (sourced from Bootleg Games Wiki: https://bootleggames.fandom.com/wiki/Squirrel_King/gallery?file=Super_Mario_Bros._%2528Ex-Gamtec%2529_Box_art_and_Cartridge.jpg). Would this be considered pre-release material, or would this be okay to include in a footnote present in the main article? --Carbuncle (talk) 09:34, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
