Squirrel King (Genesis)
Squirrel King |
---|
Also known as: Super Mario World This game has unused graphics. This game has a prerelease article |
Chipmunk Squirrel King is a Chip 'n Dale-esque pirate game on the Genesis, somewhat famously reskinned as Super Mario World.
Unused Names
A set of unused names from the ending sequence graphics. The ending includes a cast of enemies from the game, but the first two are mistakenly named "Chip" and "Dale" and all subsequent names are offset by two. Due to this curious two-name offset, "IRA" and "ARNOLD" may belong to the last two enemies that are seen there. It is not known what enemies the other three names would refer to.
Cheats
Hold A + C + Right and reset the game. When the title screen appears, a "01" should be displayed above the "P" in "Push Start Button". This represents the level number; press C to toggle it. Press B + C + Left to enable invincibility. Press B + C + Down to enable unlimited continues. Press A + B + Up and press start to see ending
Super Mario World
This page or section needs more images. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this. |
A extensive hack of this bootleg replacing many of the assets (at least for the first few levels) with Mario sprites.
- The title screen is completely different.
- The graphics look like upscaled, large versions of the sprites from Super Mario All-Stars.
- Level 1 is a larger, upscaled version of the first level in SMB. Uses the overworld music.
