This is kind of a bizarre thing that's been bugging me for well over two decades now.

So if you play a match with the timer off in the options menu, then defeat your opponent, there seems to be a random chance that a random number will show up in place of the infinity symbol from the time the loser is doing their death shout to the time they land on the ground and YOU WIN/YOU LOSE pops up.

It probably doesn't have much to do with anything, but what is this?! It only happens in this iteration of the game. Rick (talk) 18:30, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Just a simple glitch. I'm assuming the game is probably going to start counting the time left to tally the score, but then realizes it's on infinite and that's why the glitch happens. I've never seen it, but I think that's what's happening. ReyVGM (talk) 20:46, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
I think it's a bug, but counting down the time left to tally the score I'm not so sure, as it always seems to be a different number each time. I distinctly recall it being as low as 01 once! Rick (talk) 04:16, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
Could be that the timer is still running in the background but loops, or maybe just freezes on 00, might be worth testing with longer or shorter matches? MRMIdAS
