Boss & ending

I'm sure I managed to beat the final boss legitimately in this game, but maybe I'm misremembering, although the ending was definitely the way it's described in this article.. in either case an unbeatable boss and missing ending might actually be a symptom of some not-completely-defeated copy protection routine, that sort of thing extremely common in unlicensed Mega Drive games. can anyone with more technical knowledge than me confirm one way or the other? If not, someone might have to beat this game on real hardware (or a real clone, not an AtGames emulation-based thing) with an original-run cart (later bootlegs might have the same issue) to know for sure... The final boss IS beatable, it's just that the way you deafeat it is all sorts of counter intuitive: You have to hit K. Rool when he has his crown ON, yes, you saw that right, in order to actually damage him, you have to attack him while he's (supposedly) NOT vulnerable. Also, if you want to dodge his crown attack, just stand still. It will go right through you. If you try jumping above it, you'll get hit instead. Talk about mysterious hitboxes, man... --LucasRCD (talk) 19:27, 7 February 2016 (EST)
Well, just because the boss is really counter-intuitive to beat doesn't mean that the ending is unused. Since you can adjust to the fact that he's a weird fight, you can beat him, and as such, the ending isn't unused. I've also seen some let's-players beat the boss, and since the ending is watchable (Alberit without the text) I don't believe it should be on the page. --Anton Cool Guy (talk) 11:23, 6 February 2017 (EST)
